As promised, here’s my post with all the details from my graduation party. As we were planning this, we kept making the joke that it was either: A, going to look really cute, or B, look like Pinterest threw up on it. It kind of ended up being a combination of both but I absolutely loved it! If you haven’t already, don’t forget to read my first post about my party featured here.
(Warning: this is about to be a really photo-heavy post.)
Outside we glued these cardstock letters to paint stirrers, stuck them in the ground and added balloons. Having this outside was a huge plus…because I accidentally put the wrong address on the invitation. Oops. Outside on the deck, we had this mini display board of our senior pictures and a scrapbook that my mom had previously made of us after graduating middle school, along with one my mom made for my senior year. Here we had blank cards and envelopes for people to write letters for us for next year! Throughout our freshman years at college, our parents will mail these cards that people wrote to us. I can’t wait to see what everyone wrote and to look back on the memories! Making this probably took longer than necessary but it was worth it. The 2 is all of Madie’s photos, the 5 is photos of me, and the 0 and 1 are all childhood photos of us growing up! For food we decided to go the DIY route instead of buying things for the party. We had cream cheese rollups, veggie cups, fruit cups, small sandwiches, and chips in the large containers in the back.
My graduation party was an absolute blast. Thank you so much to everyone who came and who helped with this party!
Thanks for reading,
