I found these shorts at Old Navy and was hesitant at first. I’ve been trying to branch out more with my clothing style- although this outfit probably doesn’t seem very different. After some consideration of what these shorts would match with, I convinced myself to buy them and I’m so glad I did! I’ve worn these shorts a ton since buying them. I’d recommend sizing down, though, they run a bit large. Even better, they’re on sale for under $15 right now.

This medical bracelet from Stamped Expressions Co on Etsy is something I’ll be wearing every day from here on out. I was worried about the fit at first, but since the bracelet is aluminum, I can bend it to fit pretty easily. Cute medical bracelets are pretty hard to find, but this one is subtle. (And the rest of her bracelets are just as adorable!) I have my allergy printed on the inside along with my mom’s cell phone number just in case anything happens. Before my most recent incident with my allergy, I had never really noticed how big of a deal it was. If I ate something containing tree nuts or peanuts, I would usually end up taking a Benadryl, then throwing up several hours later. However, this time, I broke out in hives from my head to my thighs and had to go to the hospital for two doses of epinephrine and was put on an IV of steroids. This experience made me realize how dangerous my allergy can be. While I never got to the point of anaphylaxis, the whole episode was very scary and I never want to put myself (or my family!) through that again!
Thanks for reading!
